Pseudonym Within A Pseudonym

(Strictly speaking, it's not a pseudonym within a pseudonym, it's more like a slightly false identity within a temporarily false identity. Kind of).
For the sake of expanding my temporarily false world, I now have an LJ! Through fear of people I know in real life discovering me there, I am pretending to be living in America (but still English! That way I have an excuse for the spellings), and only mentioning half of the music I like. I'm also not going to talk about any real life events of family things or any of the more personal events that I talk about here, also through fear of discovery.
To think that, if I were more open about myself, this would be completely unnecessary. Actually, it most likely is completely unnecessary, but it's either that or I face my fears... which I don't want to do, obviously.
Oh, and for all uses of the name outside of fiction (and this website, for consistency's sake), I'll now be called Hayley Harrisse, because that doesn't sound as wishful and pretentious.
